Review: Blackberry Lemonade Sleep Pearls by Grön
The number of consumers turning to cannabis for sleep continues to grow at a surprising pace. Almost every company has its solution, and some have multiple options on the menus. I recently picked up some Grön Blackberry Lemonade Sleep Pearls to review.
Grön Blackberry Lemonade Sleep Pearls come as a 10-pack of gummies with 10mg of THC, 10mg of CBD, and 10mg of CBN per piece. Grön uses both distillate and rosin in these gummies. Each spherical gummy was three-quarters of an inch across. Reddish purple with a generous coating of sugar, holding a candy up to the light revealed a slight translucency. Grön gummies have a characteristic bounciness, springing back against the first couple chews. Multi-dosing was easy with the small size, and I enjoyed up to four at a time.

The flavor profile was layered, with the initial layer of sugar adding a sweet edge to the front, but this was quickly replaced by a notably fresh and natural blackberry note. A tart lemon note followed, brightening the entire profile while helping to conceal the cannabis note. The rosin did make for an exceptionally earthy finish that clung to the palate for several minutes after each gummy.
The Sleep Pearls took 45 minutes to kick in and a full hour to peak. Slowly relaxing me, my mental state shifted to a blank-slate peacefulness, and my anxieties and running thoughts quieted. A wave of weighted tiredness began to blanket my muscles, moving out from my chest and arms to my eyelids and crown. The slow building quality made for a good nightcap that allowed me to enjoy some pain-free time socializing or playing with the kids before heading to bed.
The ingredients were corn syrup, sugar, water, gelatin, natural flavor, citric acid, bitter blocker, fumaric acid, coconut MCT oil, activated cannabis oil, natural blue color, hemp CBD extract, hemp CBN extract, natural red color, rosin concentrate, α-bisabolol, β-caryophyllene, and nerolidol.
