Review: Blueberry & Strawberry Lemonade 1:1 Sour Gummies by Wana
It’s been nearly two years since I reviewed sour gummies from Wana, so I picked up from Curaleaf Mokena two flavors, the Blueberry and the Strawberry Lemonade 1:1, to refresh my memory about the tincture-infused treats.
All Wana products are vegan, made with gluten-free ingredients, and include all-natural flavoring, coloring, and sugar. Each container consisted of 10 gummies coated with sugar. The Blueberry was labeled as an indica with 10mg of THC in each square-block piece. The Strawberry Lemonade was even parts 10mg of THC and 10mg of CBD in each piece.

The Blueberry Sour Gummies were infused with terpene-enhanced indica blend. The aroma from the container hit with a strong sour grape and sugar berry. Though called Sour Gummies, the Blueberry flavors were a mix of sweet and sour, with the sweetness hitting first from the coated sugar and the sour coming from chewing the gummy part.
The dosing was consistent with 10mg gummies and the previous Wana gummies I’d reviewed. The onset also hit the same as the last time. As mentioned, the onset for edibles usually hit me quicker than others. But the Wana gummies delivered a slower build to the full peak of the high than I am used to.

The Blueberry indica effects delivered a relaxed and at-ease feeling toward the peak of the buzz, but the gummies did not make me extremely tired. A stronger sedative effect did hit late in the buzz, and my sleep each night was heavy and recharging.
The ingredients included sugar, light corn syrup, (42DE corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, vanilla, salt), water, pectin, (pectin, potassium, sodium tartrate, polyphosphate, sucrose), natural flavor (natural strawberry flavor, lemon oil), citric acid, cannabis extract (CBD isolate, distillate, ethanol, terpenes), sodium citrate, and colors added (vegetable red color, fruit red color), sodium benzoate (as preservative), and potassium sorbate (as preservative),
Strawberry Lemonade 1:1 Sour Gummies
Also mentioned in previous reviews, I prefer to add small amounts of CBD to my edibles. Usually, ratio of four times the THC as CBD, a 1:4, but most Illinois cultivators do not come close to this heavier of a THC ration. So I often will add one ration gummy to the 10mg THC gummies.
The Strawberry Lemonade 1:1 Sour Gummies’ aroma first stuck with the sour lemonade and followed with sugary strawberries mixed with a sharp citrus. The flavor matched the aroma with sweet citrus and lemonade on the front end and a strawberry sour on the back end. The 1:1 ratio of THC and CBD adds to my body buzz and slightly reduces the head high for day use and activities in which I need to function physically without the chronic pain.

The 1:4 ratio of CBD to THC I added to late night use to subside the chronic muscle pain that had built during the day. The Blueberry gummies were the perfect mix for a late-night path to total relaxation and heavy sleep. Overall, the Wana gummies were consistent in balanced fruit flavor and dosage as the first review. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
