Review: Cinnamon Milk by Cresco
Once I started growing my own medicine, I became so obsessed with strain names I interviewed breeders and wrote an article about How to name a strain. In general, most strains are named after their aroma, flavor, or parent strains. Cresco’s Cinnamon Milk, originally bred by Cookies and Powerzzzup, is a strain name that fits its aroma and flavor.
Cinnamon Milk is cross of Cereal A La Mode with Sherb Z #1. This batch tested at 0.67% THC, 25.5% THCa, and 26.19% total cannabinoids. The primary terpenes included linalool, limonene, and caryophyllene.

This eighth came as four large dark-green and purple colas with rust-colored pistils and a heavy coating of milky trichomes. The aroma hit with a heavy mix of earth, gas, and sweet pine with back notes of cinnamon, sweet spices, and dough. The flavor best matched its namesake with a creamy cinnamon front end that truly taste like cinnamon. Back notes included a blend of earthy pine and heavy gas, especially on the back end of the exhale. I’ve never described flavor like this, but Cinnamon Milk had a comforting warmth to each hit.
The effects landed right in the hybrid middle. The happy head high was a clearheaded mood booster, especially early on, that provided for an overall mental unwinding and tension breaking without sedation. The body buzz also delivered an unwinding relaxation in the muscles and joints but still allowed for mental and physical function during the afternoon or evening activities.
Often, I’m excited about strains because of their intriguing “flavor” name, only to find out that the strain does not really taste like its name. That was not the case with Cinnamon Milk. Cinnamon Milk worked well for listening to music, gaming, binging shows, and just chilling with friends.
