Review: Fusion Dissolvable Powder by matter
While I love growing my own flower and creating my own extracts and edibles, large scale operators can do things home growers could never dream of. Access to processes and machinery that can’t be duplicated at a small scale can allow for some fascinating creations, and it’s this arena of new and novel cannabinoid delivery systems that I believe large-scale operators can really innovate and stand out. PharmaCann and its brand Matter are delivering on that with the introduction of Fusion dissolvable THC powder, which I recently picked up at Verilife Ottawa.
Fusion powder comes as a 10 pack of 10 mg sachets. The white powder inside each packet was bright white and superfine, similar in consistency to powdered sugar but with a smooth pour.

Fusion powder wasn’t truly flavorless providing a very light sweetness when taken directly but the flavor was muted enough that I never noticed it when added to food or drink. The powder dissolved almost immediately, disappearing as soon as it hit the surface of a liquid or food.
This light flavor and quick dissolving ability lent some real versatility to Fusion, allowing me to easily and quickly infuse both sweet and savory meals and snacks. One word of caution: when added to carbonated beverages, the beverage will fizz up dramatically.
The effects from Fusion hit me faster than any edible I’ve sampled, setting in after less than 20 minutes. A gradual building pressure at my crown eventually became a stronger euphoric body buzz while my mindscape became relaxed and silly. Mentally, my focus suffered as my mood turned playful and distractible.
Fusion delivered an experience much closer to smoked than eaten cannabis, with a sharper peak and a much more cerebral than physical focus while also delivering a long lasting experience. I came to Fusion powder looking for a different kind of experience and matter certainly delivered. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
