Review: Garlic Crasher by Cannect Wellness
Cannect Wellness has taken a true “craft” approach by focusing on only a handful of strains per run. I recently stopped at Emerald Lounge and Dispensary to pick up several strains from the label’s latest grow, starting with Garlic Crasher.
Garlic Crasher is a hybrid cross of GMO and Sherb Crasher originally bred by Seed Junky. This batch of flower tested at 1.618% THC, 27.002% THCa, and 30.016% total cannabinoids.

Two large-rounded flowers made up the eighth with a deep forest and olive-green-base tone, carrying black sugar leaf remnants among dried rust-colored hairs. The trichomes were visible to the naked eye and had just started to transition from milky to amber, darkening the entire buds appearance. Spongy with a lively bounceback after a pinch, the chunky flowers ground into light fluffy pieces that left a hashy greasiness on my fingertips.
The aroma was dense with a blend of freshly turned earth, cocoa, hot rubber, oregano, and gas, supported by a much sweeter and creamier mix of heavy cream, lavender, cherryblossom, and hints of grape and melon. On the palate, the sweet and cream bottom-end mix of heavy cream, lavender, and artificial grape became the stars, while the more savory notes of gas and earth became light hints on the exhale.
Garlic Crasher built quickly, bringing down my eyelids while my muscles relaxed, and a floating sensation took over my body. A wave of clarity and motivation took hold of my headspace, sharpening my focus while relieving my baseline anxieties. The physical lightness accentuated the mental clarity by getting my body out of my way. After the clearheaded peak a wave of munchies accompanied an energy crash that brought me back to baseline quickly.
