Review: Indigo Live Resin Vape Cart by Cresco
While the list of vape producers in Illinois continues to grow, the original medical cannabis licensees continue to expand their offerings. Cresco has one of the longest-running product lines in the brand’s liquid live resin vapes. Cresco recently released a batch of new genetics, so I stopped by Mystic Greenz Belleville to pick up an Indigo live resin vape to review.
Indigo is an indica-leaning hybrid cross of Blue Limonene and Molotov Cocktail, bred in collaboration with Purple City Genetics. This 1-gram live resin vape cart tested at 83.69% THC and 87.84% total cannabinoids.

The hardware was the standard 1g 510-threaded cylinder cart with Cresco branding: clear plastic mouthpiece, Cresco logo across the tank, and a blue band at the base indicating that Indigo was part of the brand’s indica lineup. Easy to screw onto the multitude of 510-threaded batteries I have and easy to hit, the standard 1-gram cart was reliable even if the hardware is becoming a bit old-fashioned.
The flavor had a surprising amount of depth with several distinct layers. Initially sweet, a blend of orange peel and tangerine flesh opened with candied citrus, followed by floral hints of wildflower and lavender. Underneath these sweeter fruit and floral tones, a heavy blend of roasted meat and old school skunk came in to coat the palate with a sticky funk. Notably pungent, the Indigo live resin vape hung in the air after a sesh.
Indigo opened with a wave of headband pressure that pressed on my brow and crown before moving down into my body as an all-over muscle relaxation. Mentally, an upfront wave of euphoria made me giggly and playful for the first 20 minutes or so of the buzz. On the back end, this shifted toward a pleasant but detached “blissed-out” headspace that was best suited for relaxing on the couch. Indigo delivered surprisingly deep flavor with a playful but heavy-hitting indica effect profile.
