Review: Innocent Sour Blueberry Lemonade Gummies by IGF
When we first started the Edibles review series, gummies were the most available edible on the Illinois market, and I tried to sample all of them. By summer 2020, I had reviewed almost every brand of gummy on the market and burned myself out, so I moved on to the other edibles Illinois brands were launching. Since then, I have reviewed gummies here and there, but it’s again time to start reviewing the newest gummy products on dispensary menus.
We’re kicking off this review with a brand we didn’t have much access to during the early months of legalization, but we are happy we can now include more In Grown Farms products, including its Innocent Sour Blueberry Lemonade Gummies picked up at NuEra Urbana.

Sour Blueberry Lemonade gummies came in a childproof pouch with 10 gummies inside. Each gelatin sugar-covered gummy contained about 10mg of THC. The aroma was a mix berry and lemonade that matched the flavor.
As mentioned several times, I prefer sweeter gummies instead of sour, and even though these have “sour” in the name, they contained more sweetness than most sour gummies. The front end of the taste was sweet with berry and grape flavor, and the back end carried a slightly sour lemon flavor.

The ingredients included granulated sugar, corn syrup, water, powdered 250 gelatin, blackberry flavor paste, lemon noblesse flavor paste, powdered sorbitol, citric acid, cannabis, extraction butane, and extraction propane.
Though I usually have a faster onset when eating edibles than other patients, the Sour Blueberry Lemonade Gummies took about 20-60 minutes to kick in and peak, which was longer than expected. The expected high for each piece (though I ate all pieces in three doses) was consistent.

The first couple hours of the buzz were energetic, and I found myself taking care of a few physical tasks I’d been avoiding. The last couple hours of the buzz felt heavier in the head and body, and I was able to relax and binge some television. Later at night, I slept well each night.
Overall, the Innocent Sour Blueberry Lemonade Gummies were a sweet (with a little sour) treat that delivered the expected pain relieve for my muscles from gummies. We have a few more In Grown Farms products to review, so stay tuned
