I don’t use carts very often. For me, disposable pens and cartridges are for travel, family events, and discreetness. So during the last few weeks of traveling inside Illinois and attending different events, I reviewed Innocent’s Blue Dream Catalyst Vape by In Grown Farms that I picked up at nuEra Urbana.

Of course, the classic Blue Dream strain is a sativa-dominant hybrid cross of Blueberry and Haze. This .5g vape cartridge tested at 73.06% THC, 0.93% CBN, 0.78% CBG, and 74.78% total cannabinoids. The primary terpenes included limonene, beta-caryophyllene, beta-myrcene, linalool, and alpha-humulene.

The flavor from the first several hits off the cart was a strong blueberry on the front and back end of each cloud. The aroma of the cloud mixed in with the holiday aromas whenever I dosed. After several doses, the blueberry flavor softened and added other berry flavors, along with a hint of citrus.

The effects were a smooth hybrid head buzz that delivered a relaxing cerebral high. I engaged in just the right amount of conversation while totally relaxed.

The body buzz took longer to hit (though I was moving around a lot so maybe I just didn’t notice), but once it did, I enjoyed sitting around the table and talking to family and friends.

Overall, the Blue Dream Catalyst Vape worked well for exactly what I wanted to use it for, a discreet vape with a uplifting but not too talkative cerebral high and a relaxing body buzz. Perfect for trips to visit friends and family.
