Review: Innocent’s Sophora Honeycomb by In Grown Farms
I’m following my Aurora Chem Haze Sugar by In Grown Farms, with a different type of concentrate from the Innocent brand: Sophora Honeycomb picked up from nEra Urbana.
Sophora is a sativa dominant hybrid cross of Highwayman and (Northern Lights #5 X Haze). This batch of honeycomb live resin tested at 90.17% THCA and 95.331% total cannabinoids. The most prevalent terpenes were terpinolene, limonene, and b-caryophyllene, alongside smaller amounts of b-myrcene and eucalyptol.

In Grown Farms describes this wax as “honeycomb,” but I found a much more brittle texture bordering on shatter than a traditional “waxy” honeycomb. The half gram was bright orange, similar to an orange peel in color. There was a small learning curve when starting to work with this concentrate consistency, but once I was accustomed, I enjoyed the density of the hits.
The aroma in the jar was candy sweet and instantly reminded me of the classic confectionery Bottle Caps. There was a playful fruity component with sour grapes, lemon, fresh orange, and cherry tones making an appearance. The Haze genetics only appeared once I started vaporizing with spicy earth appearing under the heavy handed candied fruit in the flavor but never on the nose.

The effects opened with a fast acting mood boost that put an ear-to-ear smile on my face. Sophora was strongly positive and uplifting. Haze came shining through, ramping up my creativity and knocking my anxiety down enough to allow me to focus on some work.
The body effects were lightly euphoric with the occasional wave of tingles radiating through my extremities. Overall, Sophora was a well-balanced sativa that focused me for work and provided a candy sweetness.
