Review: It’s Mimosa Select Elite Cartridge by Curaleaf
After reviewing the strain It’s Mimosa by Grassroots and enjoying the Work Sativa high, I picked up from Curaleaf Mokena an It’s Mimosa Select Elite Cartridge by Curaleaf to take with me for a few travel events.
When I’m traveling, I usually carry a joint, but I also prefer to have a vape on me as well. I enjoy the comfort-blanket security it provides to know I can medicate at nearly every unfamiliar location I find myself. I toted the It’s Mimosa Select Elite with on three recent trips.

It’s Mimosa is a sativa-dominant hybrid (70% sativa/30% indica) cross of Clementine and Purple Punch. This batch of live oil tested at 63.12% THC, 14.05% THCa, and 80.94% total cannabinoids. It’s Mimosa’s primary terpenes included beta-myrcene, alpha-pinene, and limonene.
I chose the strain because of its energetic and cerebral high to help fight fatigue during the day, and I prefer fruit-flavors carts. I enjoyed the It’s Mimosa flower. But oftentimes, I find little similarity in the flavor of flower versus live oil carts.

The It’s Mimosa Select Elite Cartridge, however, delivered a very similar flavor as the flower. The flavor of It’s Mimosa carried a sweet fruit and tropical citrus, especially on the inhale, which combined for an interesting sweet and sour combination. The exhale added a sweet berry flavor, sour skunk, and a touch of earthiness.
As with the flower, the cerebral effects were uplifting, euphoric, and clearheaded. I found the cart to be more energetic than the flower. The smooth head high matched the smooth body buzz. The overall buzz had me motivated and on the move, even chatty at times.

As well the flower, the uplifting and motivating clearheaded buzz kept my ADD at bay and allowed me to accomplish work during any part of the day: morning, noon, afternoon, and evening. Overall, the It’s Mimosa Select Elite Cartridge served the exact purpose I chose it for. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, click here.
