Review: Kick The Itch Lotion by Pheotera Grove
The first year of legalization in Illinois saw cannabis product shortages in dispensaries, and the products that were in stock gave consumers little to no variety. Five years later, dispensary menus in Illinois are full of new-to-the-menu products. One such product includes Kick The Itch Lotion by Pheotera Grove.
The Pheotera Grove brand originated in 2015 in Oregon, outside of the Portland area, and since launching in Illinois October 2024 has released a variety of products not previously seen on dispensary menus. The Kick The Itch Lotion is designed to alleviate common complaints about itchy, red, or irritated skin by moisturizing and nurturing every skin type, so as someone who suffers from some of those issues, I decided to pick up a bottle to review.

Kick The Itch Lotion came in a 4.5-inches-tall and 0.75-inches-wide pump bottle with 100mg of cannabinoids. The topical lotion delivered a calming lavender and mint aroma with notes of almond, honey, and oatmeal. I caked the soothing lotion on all my skin issues: dryness, irritation, psoriasis, and sunburn.
With consistent applications, the versatile lotion improved every issue and left my skin healthier. The non-greasy lotion absorbed quickly into my skink, restoring dry spots and leaving the skin softer and smoother. The Kick The Itch Lotion adds to the long list of ways the cannabis plant can help cannabis and non-cannabis users experience the benefits of cannabis and to the variety of dispensary products to choose from.
