Grow Journal 71: Lemon Biscotti by 34 Mongrels Genetics (Part 2)
For Part II of this grow journal, I smoked the finished product from my Lemon Biscotti grow and am back to report (see Part I here). Lemon Biscotti is a sativa-leaning cross of Lemon Bubblegum and Biscotti bred by 34 Mongrels Genetics.
The dense bulb-shaped buds were light and dark green with rusty-orange pistils and a heavy layer of trichomes. The buds were the stickiest of all three lemon strains. The aroma leaned heavily on the Biscotti parent with little to no lemon flavor. The buds delivered a sweet, spicey, woody, earthy, and herbal aroma and flavor. After weeks of cure, the flavor added and extra citrus sweetness, fruits, and tropical notes to the back end of the exhale.
The Lemon Biscotti effects were slightly sativa-leaning on the front end and slightly indica-leaning on the back end of the buzz but stayed mostly in the hybrid middle. The head high also landed in the middle with a relatively cerebral high paired with a strong and relaxing body buzz that increased with more doses. The overall but was relaxing without sedation and a strain for almost any time of the day.
