Review: Lemon Zkittles by Ozone
Lately, I’ve been enjoying lemon flavored and sweet flavored strains, so while at Curaleaf Morris (formerly Greenhouse Morris), I added to my order an eighth of Lemon Zkittles by Ozone.

Lemon Zkittles (breeder Dutch Passion) is a slightly-sativa leaning hybrid (60/40%) cross between Las Vegas Lemon Skunk (SFV OG Kush and Skunk #1) and Zkittlez (Grape Ape and Grapefruit). This batch tested at 21.13% THCa and 21.62% total cannabinoids. The leading terpenes included caryophyllene, limonene, humulene, and linalool.

The tight colorful buds displayed light, medium, and dark green leaves with touches of light and dark purple. The dark orange pistils clumped together in spots, and the sugared trichomes were bright compared to the rest of the colors in the buds.
The lemon, gas, and earthy aroma fit the terpene profile perfectly. The flavor balanced a sharp lemon citrus with a sweet earthy skunk. Those flavored varied with the dark purple buds leading with more earthy skunk taste and the lighter green buds leading with the sharp lemon. The main flavors didn’t change much from inhale to exhale.

The effects were right where I expected a traditional sativa-leaning hybrid to be. The strong cerebral high was smooth, happy, and relatively clearheaded. That balanced with an overall relaxation of mind and body without couchlock. Lemon Zkittles definitely boosted my appetite as well. I literally took a break for a snack while writing this review.

I medicated with Lemon Zkittles while working evenings and nights when I needed to be somewhat productive but did not want too much energy to keep me up later than I wanted. Overall, I’d recommend this strain for those patients who do not enjoy the racy thoughts of energetic sativa but still want a strong afternoon or evening sativa smoke.
