During the early days of legal cannabis, there were only a few options when it came to vapes. These days, new hardware hits shelves weekly in every shape and format imaginable. The 1937 Group brand Higher Self is hoping to stand out with a unique Vape Stone design. I recently stopped into Parkway Tilton to pick up a Higher Self Miami Mango Vape Stone to review.

Higher Self Miami Mango Vape Stone comes as a 1g distillate vape infused with botanical terpenes. This vape tested at 82.82% THC and total cannabinoids. Three inches tall, an inch and a half wide, and a half inch thick, the vape sat in my palm like a perfect skipping stone. The unique design was fun while remaining discreet. There was a small mouthpiece hole at the top, a visibility window in the middle of the body, and a USB-C port and mode selection button on the side. This vape had four selectable power levels, a preheat mode, and an on/off function.

Simple and straightforward, the flavor was heavy on the palate with a couple hits producing a surprisingly natural and juicy mango tone that coated the tongue. Heavier sessions could push the effect too far with a syrupy cloying sweetness overpowering my palate.

The vape shifted my experience quickly, pushing a strong pressure onto my brow, arms, and chest. Heavier than the hybrid label led me to believe, my headspace became hazy, detached, and introspective. Calm and quiet, a solid sesh tamped down my anxieties but took my motivation as well. Fast-acting but short-lived, I returned to baseline within a half hour after hitting the vape. Overall, the Miami Mango Vape Stone combined unique hardware with a strong, direct flavor and effect profile.
