Cannabis Research Institute Symposium set for June 1
The Community Health and Cannabis Collaborative (CHeCC) and Cannabis Research Institute (CRI) at the University of Illinois Chicago recently announced their inaugural symposium. The CRI Symposium is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.—3 p.m. on June 1.
To register for the CRI Symposium, visit here. A symposium schedule can be found here. The I Hotel & Illinois Conference Center, located at 1900 S. First St. in Champaign, Illinois, will host the event.
This symposium will bring together researchers, community partners, and state interest holders to share CRI’s work, share work and initiatives from across the cannabis ecosystem, and explore opportunities for collaboration across Illinois. Breakfast, lunch, and takeaway snacks will be provided. Space is limited, so CRI encourages attendees to register as soon as possible.
Grounded in CRI’s mission to turn science into impact, sessions highlight real-world applications of research, elevate community voices, and create space for connection, collaboration, and shared learning. For each session block, participants can choose between Speaker Sessions and Interactive Sessions.
