Review: Muddled Berries Gummies by Revolution
My journey trying live-resin gummies continues. After reviewing the Mango Pineapple Nano-Live Resin Gummies from Revolution Cannabis, I picked up the Muddled Berries Gummies from Revolution Normal to review.
The Muddled Berries, labeled as sativa, came as pack of ten gummies that contained 10mg of THC each. Each gummy was about a third of an inch across and a quarter-inch wide and not quite translucent. Muddled Berries were a light purple with a heavy coating of sugar. The consistency had a little resistance and bounce back until a few chews that dissolved them into a softer chew. The Muddled Berries aroma hit with a sweet blueberry cake icing on the front end, with notes of artificial grape, raspberries, and blueberries throughout. The flavor delivered a blast of grape, blueberry, and cotton candy that hid almost all the cannabis tang.

The onset was fast-acting, probably twice as quick as a normal gummy. The head high hit first but the body buzz quickly followed. As mentioned in the Mango Pineapple Gummies review, these nano-live resin gummies, the sativa and indica labels had one key difference. The head high for the sativa-labeled gummies was clearer than the indica-labeled Mango Pineapple Gummies. The head high was functional and led the buzz for the first hour.
The body buzz eventually took over with that same sinking and floating feeling in my extremities that worked its way toward my core, relieving muscle pain and cramps with an overall melting sensation. Even though Muddled Berries were labeled sativa, the end of the buzz became sedative and led easily to boosted appetite and sleep.
The ingredients were sugar, tapioca syrup, water, gelatin, palm kernel oil, natural flavors, citric acid, malic acid, cannabis extract, sunflower lecithin, corn oil, and beta-carotene (color). For more Illinois cannabis industry news, subscribe to Illinois News Joint’s newsletter here.
