Review: Nite Blueberry Sublingual Strips by High 5ive
While I love the effect profile from fast-acting nano edibles, most of the time I simply don’t want to eat gummy after gummy. High 5ive has come to market with a sublingual strip seeking to deliver the same effects in a much smaller package. I recently picked up samples of the High 5ive Nite Blueberry Sublingual Strips to review.
High 5ive Nite Blueberry Sublingual Strips come as a 10-pack of sublingual strips with 10mg of THC and 10mg of CBN and a Valerian Root/GABA blend. The strips are sugar free and gluten free.
A paper thin translucent blue square, just slightly larger than a postage stamp, sat inside the center of a peel-apart foil package. Slightly sticky, the texture was similar to a thinner Fruit by the Foot or Fruit Chews with a fast dissolve under the tongue but a slower disappearance if chewed. The flavor was surprisingly light. A sweet, tangy, vaguely artificial berry note came and went with the strip. Even multiple strips taken at once only produced a light flavor with no cannabis-style bitterness or any lasting tones.
The sublingual strips were one of the fastest-acting edible experiences I’ve ever had, inducing a rush of tingling body sensations by the 10-minute mark, followed closely by an optimistic-mood shift and a clear, open headspace. The physical wave became heavier as the peak came on, providing an allover tingling, vibratory buzz. The clearheaded calm stuck with me for the duration, remaining highly functional even as the physical wave peaked. Overall, the convenient form factor and fast acting, functional calm quickly made these a new favorite.
