Review: Oh Snap! Dubble Joint by nuEra
I’ve written about nuEra’s recent purchase of Ieso, and I continue to see the changes from this move come to dispensary menus. One of these changes has been the transition of the brand’s “Dubble Joints” from a bubble hash to a live resin infusion. I wanted to see how this switch had changed one of nuEra’s flagship products, so I headed over to nuEra Champaign and picked up an Oh Snap! Live Resin Infused Dubble Joint to sample.
Oh Snap! is a hybrid cross of Forbidden Fruit and Bernie Mac. This live-resin infused joint tested at 0.6% CBGa, 0.36% THCV, 0.58% THC, 44.2% THCa, and 45.74% total cannabinoids. Terpenes were 0.68% of the total weight with limonene, β-caryophyllene, linalool, and α-humulene being the heaviest indicated.

The smell from the tube was a sweet and funky blend of orange peel, diesel gas, mushroom-style earthy funk, and a blend of herbs that combined with the heavy-orange peel at the front to evoke the aroma of triple sec. The flavor carried the orange peel and sweet triple sec flavor alongside a creamy cheese tone and hints of mint near the finish. The flavor benefited from the live resin infusion, becoming more complex than flower alone could provide.
A fast-acting open mindscape was paired with a physical inflammation and pain relief that left me with a floating sensation. Oh Snap! could fit into my schedule anywhere as my energy levels were kept steady even as my focus waned. I enjoyed the strain most at the end of the day where the heavy body release worked to help me let go of the day’s accumulated pain.
The live resin infusion added a complexity to the flavor and created a long-lasting buzz, leaving me waiting for even more of the label’s strains in this revamped format. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
