Review: Pacman by Cookies
One of the branding ideas Cookies executes correctly is celebrity collaboration. By building collabs around single strains instead of entire labels, Cookies is allowed to experiment more than other companies that pour more resources into single bets. One of Cookies’ big successes has been the cultivar Pacman, a collaboration with NFL star Adam “Pacman” Jones. Cookies recently brought the strain to Illinois through its collaboration with Revolution Cannabis so I headed up to Enlightened Mount Prospect and picked up a sample.
Pacman is a hybrid cross of Biscotti and Jealousy F2. This batch of flower tested at 1.19% THC, 23.47% THCa, and 25.32% total cannabinoids.

The Cookies blue mylar contained two tightly trimmed medium sized cola tops, one smaller popcorn style flower, and one small piece of bud. Deep-green at the base, splashes of purple, and a few thick rust-toned hairs added some variety to the color. The trichomes sparkled in the light, showing the beginning of the transition from milky to amber.
Bright and fruity on the front end, with notes of overripe melon-lime peel, cherry blossom, and the briny tang of ocean water at the finish. The flavor carried the sweet tones of melon and cherry blossom, while the finish revealed an herbal note of sweet-fresh thyme. The entire profile was fresh and natural, leaning hard into the fruit and herb flavors.
Pacman induced a relaxed mindset paired with an energetic physical profile with euphoric tingles and joint-targeted pain relief. Calm and collected, Pacman dampened my running internal monologue and heightened my awareness without hurting my focus, a great mental space for working. The physical aspects outlasted the mental clarity and stuck with me for most of the rest of the day as an overall lightness.
