Review: Pacman Live Resin by Cookies
One of the truly fascinating aspects of cannabis is how varied the expression of a strain can be depending on which form of consumption it’s processed into. Flower, vapes, dabs, or edibles each highlight different aspects of a plant, and I love comparing them. I previously reviewed Cookies Pacman as an eighth of flower and recently sampled the Pacman live resin from at Cookies Peoria Heights.
Pacman is a hybrid cross of Biscotti and Jealousy F2. This batch of live resin budder tested at 0.16% CBDa, 3.44% THC, 68.76% THCa, and 73.79% total cannabinoid content. A pool of bright sunflower yellow badder covered the bottom of the glass in a smooth even layer. The syrupy consistency was easy to scoop into a dab but quick to drip off the tool if not used quickly. In fact, the pool of badder moved so fast that the contents could pool up on the side after only a few seconds of (accidentally) laying the package on the side.
The aroma was very bright and sour, carrying a front-end aroma with lemon, grapefruit, pineapple, and balsamic vinegar notes. The finish carried less fruit forward tones of pine needles with a vegetal green tone similar to spinach appearing on the finish. The flavor carried the same tangy tropical tones to the palate with the lemon and grapefruit creating the front of the flavor while the spinachy leafy-green flavor came in at the finish, cutting through the fruity tang.
A hit of Pacman provided an almost immediate shift in mood, awareness, and physical sensations with a tight headband at my crown, a hazy awareness, and a smile setting in as I exhaled. The tightened awareness space made it difficult to focus, even as my mood peaked to a cheeky and playful zenith by the 30-minute mark. The strong waves of sensations that started in my crown moved downward into my core as time passed. Pacman was a good anytime break, and the heavy physical sensation didn’t leave me tired.
