Review: Pineapple Infused Preroll by Terp Stix
As noted in my Strawberry Terp Stix review, I believe this will be the year of the infused preroll. As the category expands, Terp Stix is ensuring it has a place on dispensary menus by offering prerolls in a wide range of flavors. So I thought I’d try another flavor and review the Pineapple Terp Stix.
Picked up from Mission South Chicago, this Pineapple Terp Stix tested at 18.25% THC-9, 16.50% THCa, 0.17% CBN, 0.35% CBG, 0.87% CBGa, 0.31% CBCa, 0.11% CBD, and 36.73% total cannabinoids. The terpenes reached 3.22% and led with α-humulene, β-caryophyllene, trans-nerolidol, linalool, and limonene.

I popped the tube and took a deep inhale. There was a distinct tangy tropical note reminiscent of mango and oranges. This Terp Stix preroll burned evenly with a thick ring of dark oil bubbling at the ash that never let me forget about the distillate infusion.
The smoke was thick with flavors of earth and thyme on the front and the tangy mango-orange from the aroma on the exhale. There was an artificiality that gave the entire profile a mass-manufactured candy flavor.
This Pineapple Terp Stix was similar in effect to the Strawberry Terp Stix, heavy handed but short lived. Heavy eyelids and a strong body buzz set in before I finished the preroll. Mentally, I was spaced out and dazed, completely unable to focus.
The Pineapple Terp Stix may not have been a very “functional” smoke but it was certainly relieving, knocking out my anxiety and body pains. Less than an hour after these strong effects set in, they seemed to fizzle out, and I was left with the thought that these would be a great fit for a lunch break.
