Review: Pomelo Fruit Snax Live Rosin by Mile High Melts
During the Illinois Craft Showcase, I finally picked up from Parkway a review product I’d been wanting to try. Mile High Melts, in collaboration with Redemption Botanicals, recently released live rosin in Illinois, so I picked up a gram of the Pomelo Fruit Snax.
Pomelo Fruit Snax is a hybrid cross of Papaya and Orange Mints. This batch tested at 6.019% THC, 81.38% THCa, and 77.395% total THC. Primary terpenes included β-myrcene, β-caryophyllene, and limonene, with 5.46% total terpenes.

The light-amber Pomelo Fruit Snax Live Rosin was soft, pliable, and easy to handle. The aroma hit with a mix of earth, sour gas, citrus, minty pine, tropical fruit, and spice. The flavor matched the aroma with sour gas, orange citrus, earth, minty pine, and spice. No one flavor dominated but instead took turns peaking as the feature during different hits and temperatures.
The effects landed in the hybrid range for the first half of the buzz, but during the second half, the heavy body buzz took over to help relax the mind and body. The Pomelo Fruit Snax Live Rosin started with an uplifting and cerebral head high that quickly mellowed out into a more carefree and happy-go-lucky mindset. The head high quieted life’s stresses and thoughts that didn’t stray too far from the basics. The body buzz crept in later than expected, but once fully dosed, the muscle and joint relaxation build into a sinking sensation that ended with a heavy-blanket feeling. At the end of the buzz, a mental sedation set it, which led into a strong night of sleep.
