Review: Purple Urkle Vape Cart by 93 Boyz
In the days before legalization, the color purple was rare enough in cannabis that it garnered a real premium and mystique. These days access to knowledge and genetics have demystified the color, but I still catch myself perking up when I see the word on menus. 93 Boyz released a Purple Urkle vape cart, so I picked one up to review.
93 Boyz Purple Urkle 1g vape cart is a distillate-based oil infused with botanically derived terpenes. This vape cart tested at 0.26% CBD, 85.71% D9-THC, and 91.34% total cannabinoids. The primary indicated terpenes α-pinene, β-myrcene, α-humulene, and limonene.

The hardware was a classic 1-gram cylinder style cart. A stainless-steel core with a clear tank and clear plastic cylinder mouthpiece, the cart had no branding. The oil was a light honey color with a dense viscosity that was slow to move even when warm.
The flavor was direct and sweet, combining an artificial Kool-Aid style grape tone with hints of floral lavender and rose to create an unmistakable “purple” note. “One dimensional” could be used here as a compliment as consumers will know the flavor by the name instantly. The finish was sweeter than the initial hit and clung to the palate for almost five minutes after each sesh.

Heavier than I anticipated, multi-hit sessions created a hazy headspace that tamped down anxiety and motivation simultaneously. A quiet and introspective calm replaced the standard running train of thought for a solid half hour. The mental shift was accompanied by a weak pressure localized in my chest, but this subsided faster than the mental shift. Overall, the Purple Urkle cart delivered an indica-style buzz with a true to the name purple flavor.
