Review: Punchinella 1:1 Live Resin by Bedford Grow
As anyone who has misjudged an edible or the size of a dab can tell you, there’s a fine line between “well medicated” and “one toke over the line.” I deal with precise measures and cash at work and mental clarity is of the utmost importance. That’s why I’ll usually turn to an uplifting sativa to medicate without weighing me down. This time I was delighted to try from Maribis on Grandview a new option for “relief without intoxication,” a 1:1 CBD:THC Live Resin from Bedford Grow, Punchinella.
Punchinella is a hybrid cross of Jackson Jambo and Cinderella 99. This live resin tested at 34.52% THCA, 39.18% CBDA, and 82.6% total cannabinoids. The primary terpenes were b-myrcene, terpinolene, and -b-caryophyllene.

This gram came as a pool of golden live resin oil. The oil was completely transparent with a purified clarity that simply tinted whatever you viewed through it with a yellow filter. The viscosity was similar to honey and despite the absence of any solids, the oil was easy to scoop out and dose.
In the jar, I detected notes of orange peel, black pepper, fresh pine, and just a hint of medicinal and vaguely herbaceous tang from the terpinolene. Once I dropped it into the banger, the terpinolene came right to the front with its characteristic medicinal and herb flavor before the orange and pine came into the picture.

The effects were incredibly balanced. The anxiety relief came first, quieting the running voice in my head and relaxing me without distraction. My body aches were especially targeted, and I came away feeling lighter and moving quicker than usual.
I almost never felt “intoxicated” and the balance of THC and CBD made for an even more relieving experience than a standard sativa provided me. The flavors were tangy and intriguing, and the relieving effects made it a wonderful medicating option for getting me through the day without getting me off track.
