Review: Razzmatazz d8 Cartridge by Matter
As a registered patient in Illinois’ Medical Cannabis Patient Program, I have discovered in only a few months several new medicinal options that have made me feel ten years younger. By targeting specific properties from flower, edibles, tonics, and concentrates, the overall improvement to my health has been a life changer.
This week, I believe I have discovered a single new product that could be another life changer in my wellbeing.
The Origins Razzmatazz d8 Vape Cartridge by Matter.

Matter is currently launching this new d8 Razzmatazz vape cartridge created with live cannabis-derived terpenes and enhanced with delta-8 THC.
What is delta-8 THC?
According to the National Cancer Institute, delta-8-THC can be defined as “An analogue of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) with antiemetic, anxiolytic, appetite-stimulating, analgesic, and neuroprotective properties.”
Delta-8-THC exhibits a lower psychotropic potency than delta-9-THC, the primary form of THC found in cannabis, and still offers a potent but different high of its own.
Matter’s Razzmatazz strain, an energetic sativa that derives from a Skunk #1 pheno, already has reported medicinal affects similar to delta-9 affects by potentially helping with depression, stress, pain, inflammation, and fatigue.
The d8 Razzmatazz vape cartridge, though, contains 60.74% delta-8-THC and 13.68% delta-9-THC.

This combination delivers several of the medicinal benefits I’m searching for, specifically the muscle relaxation, appetite stimulation, and anti-nausea affects.
The 13.68% delta-9-THC delivers a mild psychotropic head high that is stimulating and uplifting. Combine the energetic sativa with the enhanced 60.74% delta-8-THC, and the new d8 strain offers a juxtaposition of energy and calm I’ve never felt while medicating.

The affects start with a slowly increasing head high similar to medicating with delta-9-THC. The head buzz then plateaus on the psychotropic affects and eases into a calm levelheaded head high that, because of it sativa genetics, also delivers an energetic quality.
Then the body hits. For me, the muscle relaxation was the most impressive benefit, more akin to dosing edibles than smoking or vaping.
As the high continues and with each new dose, the muscle relaxation becomes more prevalent and heavier.
While I am sitting, my muscles melt into the chair with a heavy sinking feeling. But while moving around, unlike when I medicate heavily on edibles, my muscles and motor skills are surprisingly responsive for the level of muscle relaxation.
The calm head high and relaxing body buzz provide a less anxious feeling than the potent stoned-to-the-bone psychotropic high delta-9-THC often delivers.
Because of the potential benefits to my overall wellbeing, I certainly will try to include the Matter Origins Razzmatazz d8 into my future health care.
Matter cannabis is grown in greenhouses under a combination of both sunlight and artificial light for a full-spectrum effect, and its cannabis-derived process includes only naturally occurring terpenes in the product.
Matter products are produced by PharmaCann, which operates dispensaries under the name Verilife. The Razzmatazz d8 vape cartridge is only available at Verilife’s four Illinois dispensary locations (Arlington Heights, North Aurora, Ottawa, and Romeoville). Verilife also has dispensary locations in five other states.
PharmaCann, according to its website, is one of the country’s largest vertically integrated cannabis companies, providing safe, reliable, top-quality cannabis products to improve people’s lives.

Delta-8-THC only exists naturally in fractions of a percent, but cultivators such as PharmaCann can now scientifically isolate, refine, and enhance the levels to create a new cannabis vaping experiences for Illinoisans and out-of-state visitors.
Similar to how the delta-9 THC levels have skyrocketed in the last decade, I easily can imagine, five years from now, d8 products being as or more popular than CBD and delta-9-THC products.
I, for one, am looking forward to it.
