Today, central Illinois gained one more adult-use dispensary.

Beyond/Hello dispensary opened for adult use cannabis sales in McLean County.

Beyond/Hello, formerly knows as The Green Solution, is located at 501 W. Northtown Road. The Green Solution had been selling medical cannabis for medical use only until today.

Beyond/Hello dispensary, owned by Jushi Holdings Inc., started taking online and phone orders for curbside or in-store pickup at 9 a.m. The dispensary is open from 9-7 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Beyond/Hello carries flower, pre-rolls, extracts, edibles, cartridges, disposable pens, tinctures, topicals, capsules, pills, and various supplementary products.

On the flower menu for the first day of recreational sales is three of Verano’s G-Line: G Purps, G Wagon, and G6.

Also on the recreational menu: Honey Bee by Bedford Grow and NYC Diesel by Ieso.

Jushi Holdings purchased The Green Solution and other dispensaries in January/February and rebranded the dispensaries.

Beyond/Hello dispensary is the first of three dispensaries Jushi Holdings plans to open in Illinois. The second soon to be rebranded store in is Sauget (2021 Goose Lake Road), which also sales recreational and medical products.

“We are excited to announce that our Normal dispensary will become adult-use this Monday,” the dispensary announced on social media. “We will be requiring that our adult-use customers planning to shop at our Normal location utilize online or phone ordering. Curbside pick-up will exclusively be offered to our medical patients. In-store pick-up is available to all patients and customers.”

The dispensary received an early approval for a “same site” adult use cannabis licenses March 12.

That recent approval by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation raised the total number of approved “same site” licenses to 49 and the total number of dispensaries licensed to sell adult use cannabis to 51 at the time.

Under the law, existing medical cannabis dispensaries are permitted to open an adult use dispensary at the same site as their medical dispensary, as well as a second site for adult use sales at a different location.
