Review: “Selfie” Pineapple Chunk Preroll by Ieso
It’s always nice to see new labels on the dispensary menu (even if it’s a clever rebranding). That’s why I was quick to take the opportunity when offered the chance to try something from IESO’s new flower label, Cultivate. This is the “Selfie” .5g Pineapple Chunk Pre-Roll by Ieso.
Pineapple Chunk is a hybrid cross of Pineapple and (Cheese X Skunk #1). The flower in this pre-roll tested at 14.54% THCA and 15.28% total cannabinoids. The primary terpenes were b-myrcene, terpinolene, and ocimene.

This half gram pre-roll exuded tangy tones of mango, aged cheddar cheese, and finished with a heavy scent of fresh earth. The scent was surprisingly wide ranging and layered.
The joint burned evenly with a pleasant stickiness. The tart mango and cheese tone were drowned out by the earth tones, which dominated the flavor profile of the smoke.

This half gram pre-roll was a spot on prescription for my workday. The effects were very well balanced with noticeable mood elevation, anti- anxiety effects, and a very faint, tingling body euphoria.
The light effects of the Pineapple Chunk made for a great wake n’ bake that left me relaxed but still energetic and motivated enough to take on my day. Consumers looking for a balanced and easy to manage high with some great depth of flavor should seek these out.
