Review: Sleep Gummies by Wonder Wellness Co.
Despite reviewing Illinois cannabis products for almost five years, there are still longstanding labels I haven’t had the opportunity to review. Until today, Cresco label Wonder Wellness Co. has been on that list. I finally had the chance to pick up some Wonder Wellness Co. Sleep gummies to review.
Wonder Wellness Co. sleep gummies come as a 20-pack of gummies with 5mg of CBN, 5mg of CBD, and 5mg of THC per piece. The ingredients are sugar, glucose syrup, pectin, citric acid, potassium citrate, natural flavor, cannabis oil, CBN, CBD, fruit and vegetable juice, chamomile, melatonin, and sunflower oil.

Small pinkish-purple ovals, three-quarters of an inch long, a third-of-an-inch wide, and a quarter-inch thick carried the Wonder Wellness Co. logo and a thick layer of sugar crystals. The dry, sugar-laden exterior felt hard in the palm, but the gummy quickly gave way to the teeth with a gumdrop-like texture.
A sweet combination of figs, plum, grape, and chamomile hit my nose as soon as I opened the bag. On the palate, the dense sugar coating led with a cotton-candy sweetness before leading into a vaguely fruity blend of fig and plum. The finish was strongly herbal and medicinal, combining notes of black licorice and basil, revealing the cannabis infusion. The heavy finishing notes coated the tongue and stuck to the palate for several minutes after the gummies were gone.
The gummies worked quickly, putting pressure on my brow and eyelids by fifteen minutes. By thirty, this had evolved into a full body weighted blanket pressure pulling me down. Initially, my headspace remained playful but as the physical pressure built, a haziness descended on to my awareness window, leaving me detached and tired. Even at lower doses, the formulation worked well for and delivered on the promise of sleep, consistently getting me to bed within an hour.
