Hatch Wheeling is located at 1500 East Lake Cook Road in Wheeling and is a recreational only dispensary. The Hatch Wheeling facility opened in April 2021 and is nearly 6,000 square feet with a modern yet welcoming design. The refreshing aspect of visiting Hatch dispensaries is that they are not integrated with a cultivator. Hatch associates do not have to push any specific brands but instead offer a wide variety of products from cultivators across Illinois.

In addition, one of the most obvious features Hatch Wheeling has that most other dispensaries do not is the well-curated and expansive selection of cannabis accessories and paraphernalia. They have the most varied selection of quality glass, including bongs and rigs, I’ve seen for sale in an Illinois dispensary. Accessories and paraphernalia brands include the iconic Bank Glass, as well as GRAV, Blazey Susan, and more.

Hatch also accepts cashless payment through Aeropay. Hatch customers vary from the canna-curious new user to the seasoned cannabis connoisseur.

In the community, Hatch donated $100,000 to Oakton Community College to create the Hatch Social Equity Opportunity Scholarship, which will support social equity students enrolled in the college’s cannabis programs by providing resources for tuition, books, and fees.
