Review Strawberry Cough Preroll Pack by Blaze
What’s better than a Strawberry Cough preroll? Five Strawberry Cough Prerolls. I have a firm belief that was the logic behind Blaze’s multipack offering. I recently stopped into Cloud9 in Champaign and picked up a pack to review.
Strawberry Cough is a sativa-leaning hybrid cross believed to be a cross between Haze and Strawberry Fields. This batch of prerolls tested at 1.672% THC, 27.911% THCa, and 30.348% total cannabinoids.

Five 0.7g prerolls cones, complete with Raw branded crutches, came in at 2¾ inches each. Halfway between a half gram and a full gram, the dose was a good fit for a full solo session. The interior was filled with a finely milled deep forest green grind that had compacted in travel and really benefited from some pre-work before smoking.
A deep inhale from the box paired with a few dry pulls produced an aroma of mixed berries, fresh cut cucumber, and figs with undertones of pine and sage. When smoked, the lighter berry and cucumber notes appeared quickly at the very front of the inhale but were quickly wiped away by richer notes of sweet-dried fig, pine, black pepper, and warm cacao notes. While the earthy flavors dominated the smoke, there was a fresh note of cucumber that stuck to the palate even after exhale.
A clear, spacious mindscape greeted me at the end of the joint, allowing for focus and clarity of thought, while slightly boosting my energy level with a light euphoric buzz in my body. The initial increase in concentration began to wane after a half hour, leaving a functional calm behind, but the physical tingling and increased energy remained for well over an hour. Without the added focus, the back-end energy left me playful and silly and was particularly well suited to socializing.
