A Friend Indeed program still helping Veterans
Nearly four years ago, Illinois News Joint kicked off its A Friend Indeed program. Since, we have provided more than three dozen Veterans with nutrients, grow materials, and hundreds of seeds to assist Veterans in growing their own medicine. As Illinois News Joint has expanded, the outreach for the A Friend Indeed program has, unintentionally, been pushed to the backburner, but we want to assure all Veterans and Veteran supporters that the program is still in full swing.
The A Friend Indeed program helps Veterans, patients battling cancer, and anyone in desperate need with personalized equipment, genetics, and other resources to legally grow their own medicine at home. Although we have donated almost all our nutrients and grow equipment, we still have a deep seed bank that should be able to accommodate a wide range of specific preferences and effects. Along with the genetics, we have partnered with seed banks/breeders and grow shops to help with free/discounted equipment, grow mentoring, free grow classes, and other resources designed for specific individual needs.
Illinois News Joint is currently collaborating with new business to help expand the program with more recourse. Veterans interested in participating or supporters interested in contributing can contact Jason Brown at editor@illinoisnewsjoint.com.
