Review: Strawberry Lemonade Fruit Chews by Betty’s Eddies
After reviewing the Raspberry Creme and Cherry Fruit Chews by Betty’s Eddies, I decided to try the “limited batch” of the Bedtime Betty’s Strawberry Lemonade Fruit Chews. All three of the fruit-chew flavors included minor cannabinoids.
The Strawberry Lemonade Fruit Chews was a 2:1 mix of THC and CBG with added Vitamin C and Vitamin D. The fruit chews came as a ten pack and looked like the classic saltwater taffy wrapped in white wax paper found in a candy-store bin. The fruit chews’ texture was slightly softer than a saltwater taffy. The creamy, tan-colored Strawberry Lemonade Fruit Chews were flecked darker with organic freeze-dried strawberries.

The aroma hit with powdered lemonade on the front end and a sweeter strawberry on the back end. The flavor also transitioned from a sweet strawberry that quickly turned to a tart and sour lemonade flavor. The tart lemon flavor then transitions back into sweeter berry notes and a hint of cannabis.
The effects were an overall peaceful chill, mind and body. The head high was cerebral without being overly thoughtful. The Strawberry Lemonade didn’t energize or sedate me but rather focused more on keeping an even-keel mindset that helped block out outside stresses and worries. The body buzz, which came in waves of relaxation, built to a chill mode that allowed me to function during physical activities or sit around without moving. The fruit chews also boosted my appetite a couple hours after taking them.
The Strawberry Lemonade Fruit Chews ingredients included glucose syrup, granulated sugar, full spectrum cannabis infused coconut oil, water, natural flavor oil, sunflower lecithin, ascorbic acid (vitamin c), citric acid, organic freeze-dried strawberries, potato starch, organic dried sweet corn, pectin, tapioca maltodextrin, vitamin D3, tapioca starch, and CBG isolate.
