Review: Sweet Indica Gummies by Ozone
Lately, I’ve been delving into a wide array of new edibles. From gummies with a focus on minor cannabinoids and CBD ratios to water-soluble powders infused with cannabinoids. While I enjoy trying out these innovative options, there are moments when I simply need a traditional THC edible. During a recent visit to River Bluff Roselle, I stumbled upon Ozone’s Sweet Indica gummies and couldn’t resist picking up a sample to review.
Ozone distillate and terpene infused gummies come in a 10 pack of 10mg gummies. The ingredients are sugar, tapioca syrup, gelatin, water, sorbitol, maltodextrin, natural flavor, natural color, malic acid, cannabis oil, MCT oil, potassium sorbate, and terpenes
As I opened the jar, I was met with an assortment of vividly colored gummies. Each one shaped like a rounded half-cylinder, resembling a split capsule. The gummies had a moist surface, with a sprinkle of sugar clinging to each. The gelatin base offered a texture that was easy to bite through, reminiscent of stale Jell-O rather than the usual firmness found in traditional candies.
Despite coming in five vibrant colors, the flavor offered only a simple sweet and tart berry note. This flavor quickly dissipated, leaving a subtle bitterness from the cannabis oil as the finish. There was a real lack of depth to the flavor here, which can be a plus for consumers with a sensitive palate.
Ozone’s Sweet Indica Gummies took almost an hour to set in, eventually delivering a classic distillate edible experience with a slow building body buzz that cooled some inflammation at my joints and weighed me down all over.
My headspace was more relaxed but highly functional and even multiple gummies never affected my energy or focus levels. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
