Review: The Great Ha’Tuh Pressed Hash by PTS
While the market has been flooded with butane, propane, and CO2 extracts full of robust and flavorful terpene and cannabinoid profiles, it’ll never be able to capture the romance of hash.
There’s something mystical and special about the old school production of hashish, even if it’s not the most economical process. That’s why I was extremely excited to see Progressive Treatment Solutions drop a line of pressed hash, and I was lucky enough to get a gram of The Great Ha’Tuh from Consume Marion.

The Great Ha’Tuh is a balanced hybrid cross of (Cannatonic X Sour Tsunami) crossed with (Aspen OG X High Country Diesel). This gram of pressed hash tested at 25.29% THCa and 36.55% total cannabinoids. The primary terpenes were b-caryophyllene, a-humulene, and limonene. As always, PTS provides full CoAs with cannabinoid and terpene tests on their website, something I appreciate significantly.
This gram came as a small half inch by half inch square of beige, sandy, solid hash that held together well when handled and provided and quality “stick” when warmed, pinched, and rubbed between the fingers.

Tangy and sharp on the nose out of the jar, I detected aromas of strong hops, lime, orange peel, and floral tones of lavender on the finish. When smoked, the hash started to melt quickly but produced a thick, smooth, and flavorful smoke. The cinnamon, orange, and lime came to the front. This hash worked nicely alone or as a topper for flower, either way carried those strong tones of cinnamon and citrus.
Open and cerebral, the cerebral effects hit me first. This hash was a quick solution for my anxiety and helped to quell the running script in my head. My body became heavy as the session continued, and I was wrapped in the classic indica-style “warm blanket” feeling.

While my mind remained clear, with a wide headspace, my body felt locked to the chair and my motivation melted, this definitely wasn’t a daytime product for me.
Overall, this hash worked best at night as a relief and eraser for the day’s stresses. I was surprised at the depth of flavor and I hope to see more or this classic extract coming to the market.
