Review: The Great Ha’Tuh Shatter by PTS
No matter how far we go with concentrates, shatter will always hold a place in my heart. When I arrived in Colorado almost a decade ago, it was countless slabs of shatter (both from the dispensary and of the backyard blasted variety) that introduced me to the world of cannabis concentrates. It’s rare that I even see shatter on the menu here in the handful of dispensaries at the bottom of the state, so when I saw Progressive Treatment Solutions’ The Great Ha’Tuh Pull n’ Snap Shatter on the menu at Consume Marion, I had to grab it for old times’ sake.
The Great Ha’tuh is a balanced hybrid cross of Cannatonic and Sour Tsunami with Aspen OG and High Country Diesel. This batch of shatter tested at 78.63% THCa, 2.70% THC, 2.67% CBGA, and 84.54% total cannabinoids. The primary terpenes were b-caryophyllene, limonene, and a-humulene. As always, shout out to PTS for including a scannable QR code on their packaging that links to a full lab analysis.

This gram of Pull n’ Snap came as an L shaped amber slab with a slightly thicker bottom than top (depending on your orientation). The amber color was consistent throughout with a great glass like translucency.
True to the name, this concentrate had a tackiness when manipulated with my dab tool, and with a quick flick of the wrist (just like riding a bike!), it was simple to break a dose off.

The aroma from the package was light with a quick hit of orange peel on the top end before notes of diesel and garlic appeared. The flavor flipped everything on its head with the garlic and diesel flavors peaking on the front end and only a hint of the orange peel available on the finish.
The Great Ha’Tuh effect profile opened in my body with a distinct tingle that started in my limbs but quickly moved inward, alleviating some chronic back pain along the way. The mind effects took a bit of time to catch up with the body, but they were worth the wait.
The heavily relaxing and playful mindscape was borderline psychedelic with a true “daze” effect taking hold with a high enough dose. Overall, this was a flavorful, enjoyable, and for me, nostalgic execution from PTS on a consistency that will never die. Shatter still matters.
