Review: White Chocolate Bars by Nature’s Grace and Wellness
Edibles are part of my regular medicinal regiment. To add variety, I often switch which type I consume. In the last two months, I have eaten cannabis infused tablets, capsules, gummies, milk chocolates, ice cream, chocolate chip cookies, and Fruity Pebble Rice Krispies. So for a change of pace and to add on to the edible totals, I sampled several White Chocolate Bars from Nature’s Grace and Wellness.
For this review, I chose from NuEra Urbana a Strawberry, Key Lime Pie, Peppermint, and Birthday Cake White Chocolate Bar, as well a Peanut Butter & Milk Chocolate Bar for the full collection. The Chocolate Bars were packaged in a white zip-lock pouch (that is not childproof) then inside a golden wrapper. Each bar breaks down into ten pieces (two rows of five) that contain 10mg of THC each.

I didn’t expect much out of the taste, because I am not a fan of these flavors as treats in general. If ordering dessert or ice cream, key lime pie, peppermint, and birthday cake might be my last resorts. Each package I opened, though, the distinctive scent of each flavor let me know exactly which flavor I opened.

Each flavor of white chocolate and the peanut butter had a strong sweet smell. And surprisingly, I really enjoyed the taste of each flavor. My question for the taste of edibles is, “Would a non-cannabis enthusiast recognize an infused edible or just think chocolate taste great?” With Nature’s Grace and Wellness’s distillation process, all of these candy bar flavors passed the taste test.

The Strawberry tasted like the creamy strawberry milk I grew up drinking, and the Birthday Cake delivered a creamy sweet white chocolate flavor with hints of cake. Similarly, the Key Lime Pie, Peppermint, and Peanut Butter represented a pleasant taste for each flavor. The Key Lime Pie was actually a white chocolate crunch bar with a great balance of sour lime and sweet crunch. The Peanut Butter also had a strong balance of peanut butter and milk chocolate. And the Peppermint delivered just the right amount if mint without becoming over- or underwhelming.

For me, the effects of white and dark chocolate edibles seem to deliver a stronger high. I haven’t found a reason for this other than maybe my slight allergy to chocolate makes my body process it faster. And again, for me, the onset of edibles was relatively quick, within a half an hour, though I know others who had to wait for more than an hour.
The high of these white chocolate bars were as strong as any I’ve had from an Illinois brand. Most of them had energy to them for the first hour or more of the buzz and lasted about four-to-six hours. Eventually, though, at the end of the buzz, the effects led to relaxation and sedation. I slept well after each night of consumption, though I don’t eat edibles and then try to fall asleep. Edibles work best for me when I let the buzz run its course, then sleep on the back end as the high fades.

Overall, these white chocolate bars (and the peanut butter milk chocolate bar) were the perfect way to switch up edibles when tired of eating the same gummy over and over. And now that I know the taste and effects were exactly what I was looking for, I’ll definitely incorporate these white chocolates for a different flavor.
