Review: White Wedding by Crops
I’ve written about the flood of Girls Scout Cookies crosses that came about in the wake of the landmark strain’s popularity. Among the many cultivars that have come and gone, a few winners remained. I was excited to try one, White Wedding, from Crops, so I recently stopped by Consume Marion and picked up a sample.
White Wedding is a hybrid cross of GSC and Wedding Cake. This batch of flower tested at 0.2% CBGa, 1.45% Delta-9-THC, 24.04% THCa, and 25.69% total cannabinoids. Terpenes were 2.32% of the total weight with β-caryophyllene, limonene, linalool, α-humulene, and α-terpineol being the heaviest.

Two large cola tips, each trimmed to a point, filled the new smaller Crops jars. Vibrant bright purple flowers and loose laying bright-orange hairs contrasted the surface against the turf-green underside. The trichomes stood out on the surface with a solid milky tone.
The new smaller jar channeled the aroma better, and the scent inside the jar was rich and warm with notes of earth, tree bark, and cheesy funk on the top end with heavy cream on the finish. A run through the grinder unlocked additional notes of sage, black pepper, and menthol that added some real complexity. It was this blend of fresh sage and menthol that carried over to the palate with a creamy undertone that helped to highlight the other flavors.
White Wedding opened with a short-lived burst of energy and mental clarity that took a quick turn into a GSC-style full body buzz and heavyweight mental haze that kept me relaxed but distracted. White Wedding worked best at the end of the day when I could really take in the strong physical profile.
Both the mental and physical relaxation had real staying power with one bowl still providing effects more than an hour after smoking. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
