Vineyard Accounting expands service for personal tax clients
I am a procrastinator when it comes to my work taxes, but for the last three years, working with Vineyard Accounting has made submitting taxes for Illinois News Joint and my family basically stress-free. This year, Vineyard Accounting has expanded its services and taken on more personal tax clients, like me. So now, individuals in the cannabis industry can also work with Vineyard Accounting.
My taxes are not super complicated but dealing with taxes while working in the cannabis industry can be. Over the last three years, unlike my first couple of years, I have not had to try to explain to an accountant who has no interest in cannabis what the publication does and does not do. I have full comfort and confidence knowing that not only does my accountant understand the industry’s tax laws and governmental regulations but also actively supports people and businesses in the industry.
Vineyard Accounting, based in the Champaign-Urbana area, is a cannabis-specific accounting firm designed to work with both plant-touching and ancillary businesses. Owners Boyd and Heather LaFoon have, for the past three years, provided Illinois News Joint with full state and federal tax services, including filing them. Vineyard Accounting has focused on large businesses dealing with the challenges and pain points that exist in the cannabis industry but now also works with small businesses. Vineyard Accounting can help cannabis business owners work within the parameters of the IRS’s cannabis regulations maximize their return on investment.
Vineyard Accounting can be reached by phone at 708-405-9532 or by email at info@vineyardaccounting.net or Instagram at @vineyard_accounting.
