Review: G6 from Verano
I am a fan of most diesel strains, so while at Illinois Supply & Provisions in Collinsville, I purchased an eighth of G6, also known as Jet Fuel. G6, as in the Gulfstream G650 jet, is listed as a hybrid (70/30 sativa-dominant), but its affects for me are similar to my favorite high-energy “works weed” strains. G6 is potent (30% THC) and has one of the most dynamic taste and aroma of any strain. G6, from 303 Seeds, has the classic diesel taste from its lineage of Aspen OG with High Country Diesel (as well as SFV OG Kush and East Coast Sour Diesel) but also an added sweet, earth, and pine flavor that satisfies each inhale and exhale.
Be ready. G6 offers an immediate hard-hitting but high-energy jolt of blissful, focused, and uplifting effects, and I enjoy its overall body relaxation. When I need a change in “work sativa,” I’ll add G6 into the mix, but it doesn’t quite top my list of work sativa, because after a couple doses throughout the day, G6’s uplifting affects eventually level off and a heavier relaxation sinks in. This is usually when my work production suffers from dreamlike states, gaping out, and trails of creative thoughts. G6 also helps with my appetite suppression, and when I’m not using it as work sativa, I enjoy it as my evening smoke.
Other Verano strains I am looking forward to reviewing include ATX Crazy Train Haze,Chocolate OG, and Thai Landrace.
