CannaBus Culture Film Fest free live stream
Recently, I’ve been encouraging Illinoisans to get out and attend cannabis events such as the 5th Annual Cannabis Camp, Delt-A-8 Harvest Festival, and Gro Up Gardening 10-Year Anniversary Customer Appreciation Day, all of which were great events.
This weekend, October 16-17, adult Illinoisans have the option to stay home alone or hang with a group of friends and experience a different type of cannabis event.
The CannaBus Culture Film Fest (CCFF) is hosting its Sixth Annual Festival FOR FREE live on YouTube. For access, click here
The festival is set to start streaming on YouTube at 4:20 p.m. (EST) October 16. The festival stream is set to end at 11:59 PM p.m. Sunday, October 17.
Official Selections for 2021 include 3 Feature Films and 17 Short Films (listed below) that are all competing for Best of Fest, Best Feature, Best Short Film, Best Director, Best Actress/Actor, and the Audience Choice Awards.
The viewers will even have a chance to help choose the winner of the Audience Award. The Audience Award will be judged via an online polling site available via URL and on screen QR code for CCFF’s audience to vote on their favorite movie. The polling will end midnight October 17.
The awards announcement is scheduled to be announced on the CCFF website and social media Monday, October 18.
Viewers must be at least 18-years old to watch the lineup of films.
“My goal is to tour the entire United States with CCFF in hopes of putting the culture in a positive light”, Festival Director Tim Mattson said.
Mattson said broadcasting on YouTube is not ideal but worth giving a try.
“YouTube is a very accessible platform that is available on almost every smart TV, media player, and on everyone’s smart phone,” he said. “We hope that dispensaries, lounges, and clubs will screen our festival in their businesses on their HD screens through YouTube, too.”
Comedian Matthew Vita will host and help guide CCFF’s audience through the 2021 Official Selections.
