Cannifest Chicago postponed until April
The pandemic is not done interfering with events in Illinois. The coordinators of Cannifest Chicago announced they were postponing the event until April 9-10.
Cannifest Chicago, originally set for the last weekend of January, announced via email and social media that “After weighing the feedback of the Midwest community and circumstances beyond our control, we have manifested a new date for Cannifest Chicago . . . We anticipate our event to have an even larger impact in April.”
The Ravenswood Event Center, at 4021 North Ravenswood Avenue, will still host Cannifest Chicago. All sales will carry over to the April event.
Cannifest Chicago will run from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets can be purchased here.
Cannifest Chicago is a celebration of community and cannabis and will host different vendors, exhibitors, breeders, seed banks, artists, nonprofit organizations, and more as part of its Seed Swap Circus, Community Choice Awards, Live Art and Music, Grow and Ganja Games, and Grow & Squish ceremony.
The Grow & Squish cultivation competition aims to connect the emerging Midwest cannabis community of home and commercial growers to Cannifest growing network of cultivators, breeders, manufacturers, and entrepreneurs in Humboldt County and beyond.
