The Dispensary East Dubuque is located at 1709 IL—35 N. in East Dubuque, Illinois. The retail store opened in May 2021 and serves recreational customers. Hours of operation are 9 a.m.–8 p.m. Monday–Wednesday, 8 a.m.–10 p.m. Thursday–Saturday, and 9 a.m.–7 p.m. Sunday.

The Dispensary East Dubuque was East Dubuque’s first and only dispensary until 2025. The store has won “Illinois Top Trained Dispensary” three times. The Dispensary’s mission statement is to “provide high-quality, affordable cannabis to our customers while providing support to our local communities.”

“Our friendly, knowledgeable staff is ready to assist you with all your needs,” said Principal Officer Jeff Soenksen. “We are constantly seeking to expand our services to our patients and customers. At The Dispensary, our patients/customers come first.”

The Dispensary East Dubuque offers kiosk ordering and the ability to order with one of its top-trained and knowledgeable budtenders. Kiosk stations are connected to an independent sales floor, prioritizing expedited service to ensure customers can get in and out of the facility as quickly as possible. There’s also an independent exit dedicated to the pre-order pickup, and kiosk customers.

“We’re proud to offer a competitive loyalty program with monthly coupons sent to your loyalty wallet,” said Soenksen. “We’ve recently doubled our redemption tier values, making it one of the most competitive rewards programs in the state.”

As one of the few mom-and-pop dispensaries in Illinois, The Dispensary East Dubuque takes pride in its community contributions and in going the extra mile for its customers.

“We take pride in holding an annual food drive every November to help fill our local food banks,” said Soenksen. “We hold quarterly blood drives that work with local hospitals and pride ourselves on giving back to the communities we serve.”
