The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) today released its March 2025 medical cannabis sales totals. Retail sales of medical cannabis for March reached $22,108,115.88 to outpace January and February totals but was still lower than the last four previous March totals and all but one monthly total in 2024.

Retail sales of medical cannabis for March totaled $10,816,859.45 in dry flower and $11,291,256.40 in concentrates/infused products. Licensed medical cannabis dispensaries served 56,847 unique patients, who purchased 1,298,645 grams of dry cannabis. Total retail sales since November 2015 by licensed medical cannabis dispensaries reached $2,311,940,075.94. Total wholesale sales by cultivation centers in 2025 hit $83,090,340.57, and total wholesale sales since November 2015 by cultivation centers finished at $4,181,971,650.82.
