Review: Samba Slapz Live Resin Vape by Revolution
The half-gram tank and coil, similar to the 1-gram preroll, has become the torchbearer for an entire product category. While a large portion of the market has moved on to more complex all-in-one or integrated pod systems, a massive selection of classic carts still exist on almost every dispensary menu in the state. I recently stopped at Revolution Normal and picked up Revolution’s Samba Slapz Live Resin vape cart to review.
Samba Slapz is a sativa-leaning hybrid cross of Bear Dance and Slapz. This vape cart tested at 74.9% THC and 76.4% total cannabinoids.

Revolutions hardware is as classic as they come. A stainless-steel post and coil surrounded by a glass tank topped with a simple black-plastic mouthpiece. The only branding was a CCell logo near the base. Inside, a transparent deep, almost brown, amber oil was dense and slow moving no matter the temperature.
A sweet fruit blend of candied-orange peel, fresh mango, papaya, and lemon flesh provided a layered opening. Underneath the fruity top tone notes of coconut cream, ground cinnamon, and a bright green tea provided the undertones and finish. The profile remained candy sweet throughout and left a lingering blend of fresh fruit and cream post exhale.
Samba Slapz lifted my energy and mood within minutes. My train of thought flowed easily, while the energy boost left me playful and ready to socialize . At lower doses the physical effects were light enough to be imperceptible but blossomed into a come-and-go wave of euphoric tingles after higher dose, multi-hit sessions. The mental boost was a good fit for a day out but too unfocused to become truly productive.
