The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) today released its October medical cannabis sales totals. October totals reached $22,209,648.89, the second-lowest monthly totals since July 2019. The lowest monthly total since then came last month, September, at $21,699,338.80.

Retail sales of medical cannabis for October included $10,720,347.63 in dry flower and $11,182,563.32 in concentrates/infused products. Licensed medical cannabis dispensaries served 58,928 unique patients, who purchased 1,265,151 grams of dry cannabis. Total 2024 retail sales by licensed medical cannabis dispensaries reached $238,039,128.10, and total retail sales since November 2015 by licensed medical cannabis dispensaries reached $2,201,604,035.58. Total wholesale sales by cultivation centers hit $304,884,896.54, and total wholesale sales since November 2015 by cultivation centers equaled $3,880,065,782.94.
