The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) today released its September medical cannabis sales totals. September totals dropped to $21,699,338.80, the lowest-monthly totals since July 2019.

In September, Illinois dispensaries sold $10,516,825.48 in dry flower sales and $11,182,563.32 in concentrates/infused products. Licensed medical cannabis dispensaries served 58,577 unique patients, who purchased 1,221,636 grams of dry cannabis. Total retail sales since November 2015 by licensed medical cannabis dispensaries reached $249,702,549.44. Total retail sales for 2024 reached $215,829,673.13. Total 2024 wholesale sales by cultivation centers reached $276,507,158.52, and total wholesale sales since November 2015 by cultivation centers totaled $3,818,502,824.62.
