We’re back with another Know Your Brand feature, this time highlighting Pheotera Grove. The Pheotera Grove brand originated in 2015 in Oregon, outside of the Portland area, and launched in Illinois October 2024.

Metschke’s path to founding Pheotera Grove was paved with personal challenges and a vision to offer relief without compromise. As a knowledgeable budtender in the Oregon market, her struggle with chronic back and neck pain led to self-exploration to relieve pain.

Refusing to rely on conventional painkillers, she discovered the relief that cannabis-infused topicals provided. In 2015, she began crafting her own formulations, combining different herbs, oils, and compounds with a science-forward approach. Her creations are now the heart of Pheotera Grove.
