News Joint Grow Journal 81: Double Guava x Blue Zorroso Auto by G.O.A.T. Genetics
In Part I, I journaled about growing a Double Guava x Blue Zorroso Auto by G.O.A.T. Genetics. I’m back for Part II of this grow journal to let you know how the cured flower smoked.
After drying and curing in my Cool Cure by Cannatrol, I trimmed the leaves from the buds and placed them into mason jars for four more weeks. The dense round buds were loaded with bright orange pistils flaring in all directions and a heavy layer of trichomes. The cure for this strain mattered. Each week, the aroma and flavor gained more depth and back notes.
After a month, the aroma hit with sour berries, sweet guava, mint, and earthy gas. The flavor benefited greatly from the longer cure, too. The overall flavor became sweeter and delivered notes of guava, sour blueberries, mix berries, grapes, mint, earthy pine, and sweet perfume.
The effects provided a potent, balanced high, especially for an autoflower. The head high was uplifting and mood boosting and relatively clearheaded, particularly in the first half of the buzz. The second half of the buzz delivered a more chill and relaxed vibe. Both headspaces were ripe for socializing, gaming, chilling, enjoying music, and almost all hobbies. The body buzz landed first in the extremities and worked its way inward. The weighted blanket sensation just light enough to keep from couchlock. Overall, the Double Guava x Blue Zorroso Auto worked well for almost any time of day, evening, and night.
