NuEra launches new rosin concentrate
NuEra, a Chicago-based cannabis company, introduced a new concentrate to the Illinois cannabis market yesterday.
NuEra Hillcrest cultivators have produced Illinois’ first rosin concentrate. A review of the new rosin (Meltdown strain) can be read here.
The rosin is made by heating and pressing pure Mr. Clean (Lime Skunk X The Cube) flower. the benefit of this concentrate is that no ethanol, butane, or other chemicals are used during extraction process.
Rosin can be dabbed or sprinkled on top a bowl or laced inside a joint.
This batch of Mr. Clean rosin has 11% total terpenes. NuEra includes the Terpene percentages on the labels.
NuEra recently took ownership of the Hillcrest Cultivation Center in Rochelle to become the newest vertically integrated cannabis company in Illinois.
The cultivation center is currently providing NuEra dispensaries with its new Illinois flower and pre-rolls brand.
NuEra strains (with corresponding effects such as pain relief, relaxation, focus, uplift, and more) include Blue Dream, The H.O.G., Pillow Factory, Mr. Clean, and others.
NuEra plans to expand its product to include more concentrates, edibles, vaporizer cartridges, tinctures, and topicals.
NuEra (formally NuMed) was one of the first licensed operators in the medical pilot program and has been serving the Illinois medical cannabis community since 2016.
NuEra currently operates three medical/adult use dispensaries in Chicago, East Peoria, and Urbana. They’ve also been awarded licenses for secondary adult use dispensaries in the same zones where they are currently operating.
“We will always remain committed to our medical patients and medicinal values, which is why we are one of Illinois’ best providers of cannabis products for all people of legal age,” CEO Robert Fitzsimmons said in a statement.
According to NuEra, the new name highlights the fact that legalization in Illinois didn’t just change the laws on the books. It unleashed a whole new era of cannabis, an era in which cannabis is safer, higher quality and available in a greater variety than ever before. Canna-consumers have more methods of consumption, more strains, more precise dosage labeling, and better information about the effects of each of our products than any generation before them.
