“Quick Hits” Review: Three Oddities
The exciting feeling I get when introducing Illinoisans to relatively new cannabis industry products never gets old. For this “Quick Hits,” I review the Banger Hanger by Ooze, Smooth Rip Filters by Nomad Grinders, and Yas Queen Papers. These include two cannabis product oddities and a product that promotes the inner oddities in everyone.
The Banger Hanger by Ooze
Collecting smoking glass is similar to getting tattoos. No one stops with just one. And once a banger collection is started, Ooze has the perfect product: the Banger Hanger.
Embarrassingly enough, I own one mini-rig and one banger that I use on special occasions, but reviewing the Banger Hanger was not difficult. For anyone wanting to properly store extra bangers, the product is practical and functional. And to be honest, I’m not sure why this product hasn’t been around longer. With the Banger Hanger, I can conveniently store up to three bangers on little trees to keep them out of harm’s way and to prevent the sticky mess on my desktop or table.
The Banger Hanger is platinum-cured silicone storage system and compatible with any 14mm or 18mm banger. Insert a male banger directly into the slot, or use one of the silicone-ribbed adapters to hang the female pieces. The Banger Hanger disassembles for easy cleaning and is dishwasher safe. Yas Queen Papers
Founder of Yas Queen Papers Ty Hagen has helped create two things we at Illinois News Joint enjoy most: a quality product and a positive influence in the community.
The family-owned-and-operated business’ mission is to create the perfect size rolling paper while highlighting important causes.
The papers are made from an all-natural blend of hemp, wood, and flax pulp, which ensures a thin yet durable paper.
Queen papers are 87mm by 42mm, right in the middle of the standard 1 1/4 (74mm) and King Size (100mm).
Yas Queen Papers are available for wholesale and personal purchases.
Five percent of every sale goes to charities directly supporting the LBGTQ+ community. Currently, Yas Queen Papers’ selected charity is GLAD (GLBTQ+ Legal Advocates and Defenders). Through strategic litigation, public policy advocacy, and education, GLAD works to create a just society free of discrimination based on gender identity and expression, HIV status, and sexual orientation.
Yas Queen Papers was founded by Hagen and others who want to promote and inspire social change and believe businesses are obligated to give back to communities and to create something special.
Yas Queen Papers wants to bring something new to the world of rolling papers and to inspire people to be themselves and embrace their inner oddities. They believe if people are less hesitant to show the world who they really are, everyone would be living in a much better place.
Yas Queen Papers hold themselves to incredibly high standards and follow the values listed on their website, which includes 1) Lift Others Up 2) Always Do the Right Thing 3) Be True to Our Word 4) Don’t Make Assumptions 5) Keep Improving 6) Communicate Openly and 7) Hold Ourselves Accountable.
